Boy, she even walks through puddles like a princess.

Let him eat cake.

Let's keep this party rolling. After the mall, we stopped by Whole Foods to let W pick out a sweet treat. So more singing and even more wishes, of course!

And since the next day was technically his real birthday, one more time with breakfast:

party of 5

So, Winston is 5. Build-a-Bear, here we come.

1. Choose a creature.

Pokemon is the current fave.

2. Get your guy stuffed.

3. Give your Pikachu a bath.

4. Blow out your candle.

Winston has rules for everything--all decided by him. Sometimes he shares these rules of engagement with us, sometimes not. For this party, he could invite 5 people. Here's the crew:

 Plus one teenager, apparently:

After BAB, we went to lunch at his favorite place: The Cheesecake Factory.

More singing and wishes:

That's a happy boy.

Today was a good day.

One of my most favorite things to do in The Woodlands is kayaking on The Waterway.
Winston? Not so much. However, since he is the sweetest kid on the planet, he goes with me because he knows how much I like it.

He realizes that these one-on-one days with me are coming to an end, and he really wants to spend all of our time together. He even didn't want to go to his best friend's house yesterday, because he said he wanted to stay together.

Good grief. I thought I was bummed when Birdie went to school? There will be no hope for me come September.
After kayaking today, he suggested we find somewhere to eat outside because, "it's such a beautiful day!"
