I've been trying to get better with my night photography. Birdie and I saw these beautiful colors after the sun went down, and I said I was going to go take a few pics. She said, "I'm coming, You need an assistant."
Per usual, she couldn't stand still, so here she is in ghost form.
This was a 30-second exposure, which is why the stars look stretched. That's how much they moved in 30 seconds. Pretty cool. Plus, I've never captured moon flare before.
Here's the back of our hotel. It was warm and windy and quiet and beautiful. Birdie said, "Ah. I think I could just sleep right here on the beach."
I can't believe it's May already and we're just now getting down to the beach. We went last weekend and had a blast.
I've been wanting new beach pictures to hang up in our living room, but I have had no luck in finding a photographer to hire for our own family pictures. So, I finally bought a remote and have been practicing with it. They'll never be as good as they would with a person behind the camera, but I'm happy.
If you could see the pull back on this shot, you'd see about a dozen people just standing there watching us look like goofballs taking our own pictures with me running back and forth to the camera. It was quite entertaining apparently.
