red shirt toddler

It's just coincidence that Winston is always wearing the same clothes in these pictures. I promise this kid has other clothes. This must be his nice-weather outfit I subconsciously grab whenever it's sunny out. I never realize it until I go to edit pictures and see that he's either in this red shirt or his collared red shirt. Oh, well. It's a feat in itself to get these two dressed and outside with a camera--I think my brain will start melting in protest if I try to add "remember wardrobe variety" to my to-do list.

why I stay home

I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to stay home with my babies all day, every day.
I would hate to miss out on these moments.

Sometimes I look at pictures like this and think I must be the luckiest lady around.
But mostly I just think, "Is it nap time yet?"

2 little monkeys jumping on the bed

Jumping on momma's bed in their favorite jammies. Thanks Aunt Jen and Uncle Leo! Well, they are Winston's favorites, for sure. These would be Birdie's favorites if they were in dress form, of course. Winston's favorite movie is Toy Story, and his best friend is Buzz Lightyear, which he pronounces as "Why Rygett." It took me a few days to figure that one out.

All her snacks are packed. She's ready to go.

This is Birdie's Super Bowl party outfit. Now if her brother would just get up from his nap....

Haha. I just realized he has a jet plane on his shirt. I love how my kids do their part to make my jokes funny (to me, at least).

someone's in the kitchen with Daddy

These two love to bake together. Then Winston takes on the roll of my personal trainer making me chase him down all over The Woodlands to burn off the calories from the cheesecakes, cookies, and brownies we always have on hand.

Is there anything more fun than singing and baking with Daddy?

I'm guessing he's probably telling her here that she's not supposed to lick the batter until the end.

This requires some serious concentration.

C'mon. Now if that doesn't make you smile, then I got nothin' for ya.
