Warning: I don't think you're ready for this much cuteness.

Don't take that bet.

I'll bet you can't look at these pics without smiling at least a little.

Ooh, you're my best friend.

Some of our favorite friends happen to be our neighbors. This is a little BBQ we had this summer at their lovely lake house. My third blonde baby girl at the bottom is Birdie's BFF. These two tell each other how much they love each other about once every sixty seconds when they're together. It's pretty stinkin' adorable.

summ-er lucky randos

Ok, only a few people in the world will get the SLR reference, but it's possible they'll read this.
Anyway, here are a few random pictures from this summer. This is probably a succinct description of our summer.
Trips and photo shoots.
Bored in the house (this looks like some sort of strange magic trick).

One of Momma's many attempts at getting a good picture of both kids together. Not so much.

Silly faces.

Playground time.

Princessing.

Frosty the squished man

Word to the wise: don't leave your play-doh masterpiece alone in a room with Birdie. She might eat it.
With her princess pinky in the air, of course.

the barnyard dance

First, when it takes me FOREVER to catch up on posts, that means that business is good. I've been so crazy busy with photo clients lately, that I've neglected my poor family blog. So, I'm going to try to give you a quick summer re-cap in the next few weeks of what we've been up to. These are from a visit to David's cousin's beautiful home and property in Louisiana. It's as close to a farm as my kids will ever visit, I'm sure. What a fun time we had.

Oh, BROTHER. Seriously, kid? Yes, I realize I dared to bother you by putting your brother on your lap for a picture, but come on, dude. How you make it through every day of cartoons, crafts, and candy is mind boggling. Maybe I can sign up for a "how to mother better" course or something. Lighten up, lady!

This is my punishment for the whole tractor-picture fiasco.

Well, it isn't a visit to the farm until you've gotten a little sugar from the barn cat behind the shed.
