Birdie loves to "cook" for us in her kitchen. She's so stinkin' cute with her little pots and potholders and how she pretends to heat things up in the microwave--she even goes "beep, beep" as she pushes the buttons. These are a few pictures of her serving cake to Dadda. She loves to carry this little tray of cakes like a waitress.

Birdie likes it when I take her picture, because she wants to be able to see the picture immediately after. So, that means she's usually walking to the camera trying to grab it to see the pictures as I'm trying to take them. Lots of extreme closeups.
Okay, Bakebaby the Second, here's the deal. This is about as good as it's gonna get for maternity pics. Don't worry, I documented my baby bump very thoroughly with your big sister, so just go back and look at those. I'm so busy these days that sometimes I forget to take pics, because I kind of forget that I'm pregnant with you. But hey, I feel somewhat confident that won't happen once you're here. Love ya, kiddo! :)
Birdie found Dadda's shoes and thought it was hilarious to walk in them. She's saying "cheese" here.

We went to our friends' one-year-old's birthday party this weekend. I told Birdie about it all day and how we were going to see her friend, and we were going to a party, and there would be presents and cake, etc. So, when we were ready to leave, I asked her, "Are you ready to go to the party?" She answered with, "Cake!"

I tried to get a picture of her cute outfit, but I could never get her to smile. The theme of the party was ladybugs.
This is the baby's cake I made for her.
This is the big cake I made.

Birdie's new favorite activity is helping me wash dishes. She "asks" me all the time by rubbing her little hands together and pointing to the sink. If I don't understand quickly enough, she starts dragging the chair to the sink. I LOVE the tiptoes in the last pic. Now, if I could just teach her to make dinner, I'd be set!
