Polo and baseball

My thought process has been I should put myself in situations where it would suck to go into labor hoping that would trigger something. So, we went to Newport, Rhode Island, yesterday to watch a polo match. It was great...but nothing. This morning we went to David's baseball game thinking I could make a big scene with water breaking in the 9th...but nothing. Oh, well. Keep your phones on, you should hear something tomorrow!

Since we've gone beyond our due date, we just had an ultrasound to check on the baby. Everything is perfect! Of course it's always hard to make out details on the still shots, but the baby was so cute. This little one finally looks like a newborn. His/her face was all scrunched up with a cranky expression and little hands up by the face with a little furrowed brow. So cute!

One time when we were in North Carolina, there was a very pregnant woman at my step aerobics class. I remember thinking, "Why aren't you at home pampering yourself? You can get in shape later." So, as David and I were playing badminton last night, it finally dawned on me that she was trying to step that baby out!

I just had my weekly check-up. Fortunately, we are both healthy, so the update is that there is no update. I really don't want to be induced, so we are trying everything at this point--that's where the badminton comes in.

When the baby does come, we'll send a mass text to everyone with the details. If we don't have your number, email it to me if you want, and I'll include you. Have a great weekend!
